I am a professionally qualified Psychotherapist and Counsellor. I trained at Westminster Pastoral Foundation (WPF) and hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice, a programme validated by Roehampton University and accredited by BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.) WPF has a reputation for being one of the leading counselling and psychotherapy training organisations in the UK.
I am registered as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC). I am a member of the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC), the graduate body of WPF. I subscribe to the Codes of Ethics and Practice of these organisations and receive regular supervision where my work is presented anonymously.
As well as working privately I have also gained clinical experience (beginning in 1983) at counselling centres in Southampton, Tunbridge Wells and London (WPF Therapy).

I have other extensive professional experience of working with people in times of trauma and stress. I have worked with people with depression, relationship issues, anger, work issues. I also have experience of working in both hospital and hospice settings, dealing with long-term illness, cancer, end-of-life and bereavement issues.
I offer one to one counselling and psychotherapy for adults of all ages. My private practice is based in my home in Sanderstead, South Croydon CR2, easily accessible by public and private transport. I am situated less than five minutes walk from Sanderstead and Purley Oaks stations which have fast trains to East Croydon, Clapham Junction Victoria, and London Bridge. I am within easy reach of the surrounding district including Oxted, Caterham, Banstead, Sutton, Purley, Warlingham and Kenley.
